Darryn Parkinson

Darryn is one of the directors of Eclipse Passive House Prefabricated and has over 25 years’ experience in construction project management. For the last 14 years, Darryn has worked in the area of sustainable design and construction as one of the directors of design and construction company Your Abode.

Darryn expertise includes extensive knowledge of materiality not only in in performance, but ethics, health and  sustainability. 

His  desire  to  build  the  highest  performing  and  healthiest  buildings  along,  with  his  knowledge  of  building physics,  led  him  to  Passive  House  construction.  Darryn  is  also  one  of  the  first  Certified  Passive  House Tradesman in Australia.

Darryn brings to Eclipse strong leadership and a genuine desire to build extremely high quality, healthy and sustainable  buildings.  Working  closely  with  clients,  architects  and  designers  Darryn  is  a  frank  and  open communicator whose focus is always on ensuring clients enjoy a trouble-free experience, resulting in a home of outstanding quality with strong environmental credentials. ,

Form part of our Integrated Design team.

Scott and Madonna compile the PHPP (Passivhaus Planning Package) from the early stages of design and provide expert advice into the the performance of the building. Services include:

  • Quantitative PHPP modelling

  • Moisture Transport Analysis using WUFI® (assesses the likelihood of unacceptable moisture levels within construction assemblies resulting in mould, decay etc)

  • Thermal Bridge Modelling of construction details using FLIXO

  • Management of Passive House certification process
